Managing Open Source Projects:
A Wiley Tech Brief
Managing an open source project
requires different demands on management and leadership. If managed the
right way, open source can deliver industrial-strength systems that meet
users' needs and provide solutions that are fully extendible and maintainable
over a long period of time. The code will also be much more consistent
and easier to maintain.
In developing the Crealog
perspective in this book, we were influenced by a wide variety of published
sources as well as our work with our clients. This site includes references
to core readings on key topics from sources that are readily accessible
(either in paper books or on the Web) as well as additional documents
too extensive to include in this book.
