Cliff Lunneborg

Clifford E. Lunneborg is Professor Emeritus in Statistics and Psychology at the University of Washington, U.S.A. Attended the public schools of Spokane, Washington, graduating from North Central High School in 1950. An undergraduate at Reed College in Portland, Oregon before taking a BS, MS, and PhD, all in psychology, at the University of Washington. Major professor was the late Paul Horst. Served as Assistant Professor of Psychology and Measurement Psychologist in the Testing and Counseling Center at the University of Texas, Austin from 1959 to 1962. Joined the faculty of the University of Washington, initially in Psychology and as Director of the Educational Assessment Center. Accepted a joint appointment in the Statistics Department when that faculty was initiated in 1979. Emeritus Professor of Psychology and Statistics from 1991 but continued teaching part-time, at least through 2003.

Professor Lunneborg has been involved in numerous publications in Statistics and Psychology. His most recent substantive publications are two statistical texts; Modeling Experimental and Observational Data (1994, Duxbury Press, Belmont, CA) and Data Analysis by Resampling: Concepts and Applications published in January 2000 by Duxbury Press of Pacific Grove, CA
