Marathon Runner’s Death Blamed on Banned Drug DMAA: Research Articles
Claire Squires, 30, died in the final stretch of London marathon last year. Last week a coroner found that the drug DMAA contained in a supplement taken by Ms. Squires was most likely to blame for her death. DMAA (1,3-Dimethylamylamine) has since been banned. The journal Drug Testing & Analysis has several peer reviewed papers on the substance:
