Instead, whether users are entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, innovative executives or are studying for MBAs and other executive education programmes, Gear Up provides a useable business tool for assessing the needs of a business idea in order to create a plan of action that will promote business success. 

In addition to the book itself, supplementary material for educators is available at gearupventures.com, including PowerPoint presentations with teaching notes, online course materials, course schedules, evaluation forms and a certificate for students who complete the course.

Furthermore, a supporting, interactive digital toolkit is being developed which will allow participants to present their enterprise idea and work through the framework, answering questions and getting real-time feedback from their facilitator/educator.

Also in development is the Gear Up Mobile App which will allow students to answer questions from their lecturers or vote in real-time from their phones within the classroom - promoting student engagement and class participation.
