Look Inside the Disruptive Digital Transformation in China

A new book provides the latest overview of China’s macro economy and important government policy drivers behind the digital economy growth.

The development of China’s mobile economy is one of the most important trends that will reshape the future of business, technology and society both in China and the world. As next-generation mobile devices and services take off, China’s strength in this arena will transform it from a global “trend follower” to a “trend setter.” China’s Mobile Economy: Opportunities in the Largest and Fastest Information Consumption Boom, a new book by Winston Ma, introduces readers to the digital transformation in China, and explains how this transformation has the potential to transform both China and the global consumer landscape. Providing a clear analysis to help readers understand the challenges and opportunities created by the development and how it affects the broader economy, the book is a must-read for anyone interested in China, the mobile economy, or technology.

China’s Mobile Economy looks into the digital transformation in China and provides insights into how the Internet is empowering the economy. Organized into three major areas of the digital economy within China, it explores the surge in e-commerce of consumer goods, the way in which multi-screen and mobile Internet use has increased in popularity, and the cultural emphasis on the mobile Internet as a source of lifestyle- and entertainment-based content.

“The excellent analysis in this book should help the reader understand the latest revolution of the internet in China, and, in particular, the emergence of mobile internet and its architectural impact on the broader economy," said Xiaodong Lee, President and CEO of China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC).

Key topics covered in China’s Mobile Economy include e-commerce, omni-channel retailing, online-to-offline (O2O), mobile entertainment internet + movies, p2p, fintech, baidu, alibaba, tencent and many more.

Those looking for the latest, insightful and readable analyses of the world’s fastest growing mobile economy, will find many of them addressed in this book.
