Wiley-Blackwell to Publish the Asian Journal of Control
"We are delighted to be partnering with the CACS and the ACA in their mission to both provide a forum for control researchers and practitioners to exchange knowledge and experiences on the advances in the control areas, as well as to champion further education for students and researchers from other fields who are interested in this rapidly growing field", said Dr. Amanda Davis, Publishing Director, Professional, Wiley-Blackwell Asia Pacific.
The Asian Journal of Control is the first international journal originating from the Asian Pacific region -- publishing papers on original theoretical and experimental research and developments in the areas of control, involving all facets of control theory and its application. Published bi-monthly, the Journal aims to be a key interface between control communities within the Asia Pacific and throughout the world.
Edited by Professor Li-Chen Fu from Department of Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. and Professor Hidenori Kimura from the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research at Bio Mimetic Control Research Center in Nagoya, Japan; Wiley-Blackwell will publish the Asian Journal of Control in print and online via Wiley InterScience (www.interscience.wiley.com).
Professor Fu said, "The Asian Journal of Control will continue to play a key role in the rapidly growing Asian research community -- building on its position as the interface between Asia and the rest of the world. We expect to publish more content from North America and Europe, the Middle East and Africa in forthcoming issues of the Journal."
"With the field of control engineering making rapid advances the international recognition of Asia's prominence in strong research competencies in control, we want to utilize Wiley-Blackwell's extensive publishing expertise to grow the Journal in scope and content, as well as to reach a broader audience."
Dr. Davis added, "The Asian Journal of Control will be a wonderful addition to our great track record in control engineering publishing, and will complement our already established book publishing program in control technology. This collaboration with the CACS and the ACA will further cement Wiley-Blackwell's position in the field of control publishing -- and enable us to bring the Asian Journal of Controlto new heights."
