1. What are the differences between the Two-Volume Sets and the Four-Volume Sets?
Both the Two-Volume Set and the Four-Volume Sets contain the same valuable test-taking information and practice questions. The difference is only organization. The CPA Exam is a 4-part test. The Two-Volume set gives you comprehensive training for all four sections in two volumes. The Four-Volume Set is broken down so each volume corresponds to a specific section of the CPA Exam. The two volume is broken out so that Volume 1 contains study outlines, guidelines and tips for all four sections of the exam while Volume 2 contains all the practice questions and solutions for all four sections of the exam.

The Two-Volume Set is published annually in May, while the Four-Volume Set is published in November.  This ensures Wiley's position as the market leader in CPA Exam Review Study since at all times of the year; our guides contain the most updated, recent information.

2. When Should I Begin Studying for the Exam?
You want to be well prepared before taking a strenuous exam such as the CPA. Allow yourself at least 3 months or more study time. Do not procrastinate, time management is crucial, Preparing sufficiently for each aspect of the exam will enhance your odds greatly. See our study tips and exam-taking tips page for more guidance.

3. When and where is the exam given?   
CPA examination sections are offered on a continual basis two out of every three months throughout the year (the "testing windows").  The test is not available one month each quarter to maintain and refresh the databank.  For complete updates on the CPA exam please visit the AICPA's website.

4. What Products do you recommend I buy?

Many live CPA courses are based around our classic study guides and many instructors recommend our practice software and focus notes as an excellent way to practice and reinforce key concepts at home! In addition, our online course, CPA e-Prep, allows you to test yourself on material you may be having a difficult time learning in class.  CPA e-Prep also enables you to create custom practice exams to target challenging areas.  All of our products can be used to create a self-study program or can be used to augment live training programs.

7. How often are your study guides updated?
The 4-volume book set publishes each November for the subsequent year. The 2-volume set and practice software publish each May. The 4-volume set (published in November) is supplemented the following June (just six months later) and the 2-volume set and software (published in May) are supplemented and updated the following December. The Wiley CPA Review customer should never be out of date on any product he or she has bought within any 12-month period.  If we need to update our CPA products, they are posted FREE of charge on this very website. 8. Do you supply any products in electronic format?
With the growing technology, Wiley understands the need to keep up with the changing times on how information is provided and delivered. Updated for the new computerized exam, Wiley CPA Examination Review Practice Software is a user-friendly software package that allows candidates to practice answering questions in either study mode or exam mode.

Wiley also offers CPA e-Prep, which is a completely online review course.  Wiley CPA e-Prep is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.  Candidates can test themselves on topics they find challenging, create custom practice exams, interact and compare their progress with others who are preparing for the exam.

9. Where can I practice simulations?
The Practice Software and CPA downloads contain 15 simulations, 5 for each of the 3 applicable sections (Auditing & Attestation, Regulation and FAR).  In addition, CPA e-Prep offers a number of simulation downloads.

10.  Do Wiley CPA Review Products offer continuing education (CPE) credits?
No, Wiley CPA Review Products do not qualify for CPE credits.

11.  How does Wiley's new online CPA course, CPA e-Prep, differ from the other programs out there?
