Richard M. Hochhauser and Eduardo Menascé Elected to Wiley’s Board of Directors
Hoboken, N.J., December 11, 2006 Peter Booth Wiley, Chairman of the Board, John Wiley & Sons, Inc. (NYSE: JWa) (NYSE:JWb), announced today additions to the membership of the global publisher's Board of Directors effective December 13. <.p>
Elected to the Board for the first time, Mr. Richard M. Hochhauser, age 62, has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Harte-Hanks, Inc. (NYSE: HHS), since 2002. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of Harte-Hanks from 1997 to 2002 and has been a director since 1996. Harte-Hanks is a direct marketing services firm and one of the largest producers of shoppers' coupons and advertising circulars in the United States.
Also joining Wiley's Board for the first time is Mr. Eduardo Menascé, age 60, who recently retired as President of Enterprise Solutions Group of Verizon Communications, a leading telecommunications provider in the United States, where he served from 2000 to 2005. Mr. Menascé brings significant international experience to Wiley’s Board, having spent much of his career in Latin America and Europe. He now resides in the United States and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Hillenbrand Industries, Inc., KeyCorp, and Pitney Bowes, Inc.
