Together, the companies have created a global publishing business with a deep strength in every major academic and professional field. Wiley-Blackwell publishes more than 1,400 scholarly peer-reviewed journals and an extensive collection of encyclopedias, books, databases, and laboratory manuals, both in print and online, in the physical and life sciences, medicine, engineering, humanities and social sciences.
Higher Education continues to fulfill its mission to help teachers teach and students learn. Innovative products include the Wiley Visualizing textbook series, which integrates images and text in a unique way to enhance the learning process, and WileyPLUS™, an online suite of resources and text available for about 150 titles, proven to engage students while providing homework help, immediate quiz feedback, and other learning and teaching tools. Higher Education commands a leading position in the sciences, engineering, computer science, mathematics, business and accounting, and hospitality and the culinary arts, with a growing presence in psychology, education, and modern languages.
