Wiley InterScience offers a range of journal package options designed to meet different customer needs and circumstances. Institutional customers may choose between online-only, print-only, or online and print combined subscriptions. Electronic access is available under a Basic Access License (BAL, for single site customers) or an Enhanced Access License.
Enhanced Access License (EAL)
Wiley InterScience's Enhanced Access License offers the greatest flexibility and value for money for the institutional customer. This license option allows customers to lock in rates through annual price increase caps based on their license's duration and overall value thereby providing price stability. Any content fee increases are therefore minimized, and budgets can be projected with costs anticipated. Our EAL customers tend to have consistently high article usage levels thereby benefiting from lower cost access to content, with cost per full text access often less than US$1.00—approximately the cost of a daily newspaper. Wiley InterScience's Enhanced Access License customers are also entitled to print copies of licensed journals at deeply discounted rates.

Basic Access License (BAL)
BALs are available for single site customers only, as online only subscriptions or as part of online and print combined subscriptions. The price for online-only is the same for print only. The price for the online and print combination is only 10% higher than for print or online alone.
