MSDN Academic Alliance (MSDN AA) is designed to provide the easiest and most inexpensive way for universities to make the latest Microsoft software available in labs, classrooms, and on student PCs. MSDN AA is an annual membership program for departments that use technology in support of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) courses. The membership provides a complete, inexpensive solution to keep academic labs, faculty, and students on the leading edge of technology. You can learn more about the MSDN AA program at their website. Contact your rep to sign up.

Now, through the partnership between Microsoft and Wiley, you can get the first year of your MSDN AA membership free upon adoption of a Wiley Higher Education title published for the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics disciplines. Simply contact your Wiley representative (Who’s My Rep) when you have selected a Wiley textbook, and a short time later, your department will be awarded the membership. Within days, you, your colleagues, and the students in your courses can begin downloading the MSDN AA software from a remote hosting server. This is usually a $499 value. Schools must qualify and some restrictions do apply, so please contact your Wiley representative about this opportunity.

Ask your Wiley representative about acquiring the MSDN AA license for FREE ! by adopting a Wiley Higher Education textbook. If your lab or your students’ PC’s are running Windows 2000 or earlier versions of the client operating system, they’ll need the OS upgraded. Microsoft and Wiley are working together to make this easy for you. E-mail us at MOAC@wiley.com for details or call 1-888-764-7001.
