Series Announcement and Call for Book Proposals

John Wiley & Sons and Professor Arben Merkoçi invite you to submit book proposals for the

Wiley Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Series

Editor: Arben Merkoçi
Research Professor
Catalan Institute of Nanotechnology
Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

The Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Series will be an international forum for the presentation of comprehensive nanoscience principles, nanotechnology tools, nanomaterials, nanobiosensors, nanobiotechnology and nanotechnology applications in the environment, in energy, electronics and computers, including discussion of ethical issues in this frontier science and technology.

The Series will issue each year several volumes dedicated to the latest advances in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. It will serve as a reference and unique source of the most advanced knowledge and know-how in the field.

The Series will serve researchers, students and others working at the interfaces of chemistry, biology, materials science, physics and engineering.

Volumes in the series will be authored and edited by the most experienced academics and researchers in collaboration with experts from leading nanoscience and nanotechnology laboratories.

The Editor of the Series will be assisted by an Advisory Board of International Experts in nanocience and technology. Its members are

Phaedon Avouris
IBM Research Division, NY, USA

Joseph T. Hupp
Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, USA

Angus Kirkland
University of Oxford, Oxford, UK

Chengde Mao
Purdue University, IN, USA

Michel A. Van Hove
City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong

Joseph Wang
The Biodesign Institute, Tempe, AZ, USA

Itamar Willner
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel

The Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Series seeks contributions in the following fields:

  • Nanoscience and emerging phenomena
  • Theory, modeling, and simulation in nanoscience
  • Nanotechnology tools, latest advances and applications
  • Nanomaterials, novel preparation routes and characterizations
  • Latest advances in nanobiotechnology
  • Nanobiomedicine, general aspects and advantages
