Google SketchUp offers architects, engineers, and other design professionals a low-cost alternative to traditional CAD programs. The 3D modeling program is user-friendly, relatively simple to use, and lauded for its motto, “3D for Everyone.” Millions of users have already downloaded the free version of the software or purchased the full retail version.
