Since January 2002, Blackwell Publishing (now Wiley-Blackwell) has been responsible for the commissioning, production, marketing and sales activity of the British Psychological Society books programme, under a specially created imprint, BPS Blackwell.
This unique partnership ensures the delivery of an essential range of books perfectly suited to the information needs of the practitioner, academic, instructor and student.
BPS Blackwell’s publishing programme is dedicated to supporting the aims of the BPS, producing:
- the very best undergraduate textbooks which meet the BPS-approved syllabus
- books for trainees at postgraduate level
- books for practitioners that address CPD needs
The overriding principles guiding our book publishing strategy are quality, ambition and focus. We aim to publish books that will make a real impact on the field, and that will be widely read and respected, in accordance with the Society’s aims to disseminate psychological science.
