A landmark series all volumes - available online for the first time

From December 2009, the book series, Patai's Chemistry of Functional Groups will be available as a fully searchable, fully updating, electronic major reference work. We will be taking the traditional book format of the Patai series into the online world making it one of the most comprehensive resources available to the organic chemist online.

The electronic major reference work, e-Patai, will contain all the volumes published from 1996 and will launch with 21 volumes of content. To facilitate the work of the researcher, librarian and chemistry academic, the historical content of the Patai series from 1964 to 1995 will be available as an online book series enabling complete online access to this seminal series.

An electronic major reference work and the online book series

The e-MRW, e-Patai, will be available with features such as alphanumerical searching, browse by topic and cross-referencing. It includes the most recent 21 volumes comprising 27,000 pages of content at launch. The online book series makes all the classic volumes from 1964 to 1995 available online together for the first time. The e-MRW and the online book series can be purchased as one package for libraries to give complete access to the whole of Patai.

Patai's Chemistry of Functional Groups will be continually updated with new comprehensive material on new functional groups, added on a twice yearly basis. The equivalent of two volumes a year will be added to the new e-MRW, e-Patai.
