Peter
Cook is currently in practice with Gavin Robotham as CRAB studio, building
a law school in Vienna, social housing in Madrid and with upcoming projects
for a theatre in Italy and a museum in Taiwan. A founder of Archigram, he has
produced over forty years’ worth of experimental (drawn) projects and
the ebullient Kunsthaus building in Graz (with Colin Fournier) and many books.
He is the author of Drawing: the Motive Force of Architecture (John
Wiley & Sons, 2008) and an editorial board member of AD. He is the first
to have been knighted for services to architecture and education , recognising
his work at the Bartlett School of Architecture of UCL – bringing it to
international recognition for creativityas well as his previous teaching at
the Architectural Association and the Frankfurt Staedelschule. He is a graduate
of The AA and the Bournemouth College of Art and an honorary Doctor of Technology
of Lund University.
