In July, the new Global Wiley YouTube Channel launched, bringing Wiley’s video content a consolidated online home with a branded presence that will in turn benefit all videos uploaded in the future. Currently, there are over 200 videos on the channel, including author interviews and presentations, comic shorts, informational shorts, and how-to and instructional presentations.
With over 160 million unique monthly visitors, YouTube has become the world’s most popular video Web site, the second-largest search engine, and the fourth-largest Internet destination since its launch in 2005. The new Wiley YouTube Channel will leverage the power of YouTube’s search capability and audience reach to attract and engage consumers, promote our authors, build product awareness, generate word of mouth, and drive media placements.
Previously, Wiley marketing and publicity staff had been posting their videos through separate YouTube accounts. Having one Wiley YouTube Channel with videos from across our global businesses strengthens our visibility not only on YouTube but also on the entire Internet, giving viewers who land on the channel through organic search the opportunity to see the full range of Wiley video content.

The videos are grouped into playlists that are based on the subject categories found on wiley.com, making it easier for viewers to search for content in specific areas.
