This new series covers the principles, methods and technologies that the pharmaceutical industry uses to turn that candidate molecule into final drug form: optimizing the therapeutic performance of the molecule, designing, characterizing and producing the best formulation, testing the drug in clinical trials, and manufacturing the final product.
