Texto y vida: Introdución a la literatura española

Designed for third-year students, this literary anthology provides an overview of the most important movements in Spanish (peninsular) literature from the Middle Ages to the present. The selections, mostly unabridged, are followed by notes and glosses, comprehension questions, literary analysis activities, and questions that relate the readings to everyday life. The Hacia el analisis literario section in each chapter provides guidance for the analysis of character, plot, structure, and rhetorical techniques. A complete glossary of literary terms is included.
