S. SELCUK BAYIN, PHD, is Professor in the Department of Physics at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Bayin is a member of the Turkish Physical Society and the American Physical Society. He received his PhD in physics from the University of Michigan in 1979.
