Eve Adamson is an award winning pet writer and author of over 30 books, including Labrador Retrievers For Dummies (with Joel Walton), Dachshunds For Dummies and Adopting a Pet For Dummies. She is a contributing editor for Dog Fancy magazine and also contributes to Cat Fancy, The AKC Gazette, AKC Family Dog, Cats USA, Kittens USA, Dogs USA, Puppies USA, Popular Dogs, and the Popular Pet series including Guinea Pig magazine and Rats magazine. She is a member of the Dog Writer's Association of America and the Cat Writer's Association of America. Adamson covered the 2006 Westminster Kennel Club Show at Madison Square Garden, New York, NY. While covering the show, she was also interviewed by MTV on the subject of adopting a pet.
