The contributions cover a wide range of topics, from fundamental characterization of material behavior to applications in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. Recent advances of X-ray technology, hardware and software are also discussed. Pierre Besuelle has been research Associate Professor at CNRS, Grenoble, France since 2001. His research interests include Homogenous and Localized Deformation in Rocks, Advanced Testing and Models.
