The third sentence in the explanation, "An adverse impact (C) is any negative result of a change to any of the terms and conditions of employment." should read:
"The EEOC defines adverse impact (C) as a substantially different rate of selection in hiring, promotion, or other employment decision which works to the disadvantage of members of a race, sex, or ethnic group.”
B. is still the correct answer

The third sentence under "Employers Subject to FUTA" contains outdated information.
It should read "...in either 2009 or 2010..." not "2003 or 2003".
|CD||CD correction: Error in Chapter 4, Review Question 7 on the CD
The answer and explanation for Chapter 4, question 7 on the CD are incorrect. The correct answer and explanation are as follows:
Answer: C. To determine whether adverse impact has occurred, multiply the highest selection rate, which is Asian, at 18%, by 4/5 or 80%. (18% X .80 = 14%). Only two groups fall below 14%, Hispanic and Native American, both at 13%.
