Solar Cells and Their Applications, 2nd Edition

The 2nd Edition will be a major update and revision to reflect the dramatic advances in this field since the 1995 publication of the 1st Edition.  A “Scientific American” style first chapter will be added (technically accurate and sophisticated but free of equations), by a leading expert (co-editor Fraas), to allow a wider range of readers to understand more of the critical concepts driving the future of this rapidly evolving and complex field.

The Market Analysis will be moved to Chapter 2, to highlight the dramatic increase in market size of more than a factor of  20 from 1995 to 2006 (from $0.4 billion/yr to $9.7 billion/yr).
