This is the first book to include a step-by-step process of how to design intelligent agents.  It provides a full life -cycle methodology for developing intelligent agent systems and aims to complement Wooldridge: An Introduction to Multi-Agent Systens, with a more practical design approach.  Accompanied by a design tool that will support the described design process and will be available with the book (website), the book focuses on examples and detailed explanations, for example, it uses of the running example of an online bookstore to illustrate the various steps of the design process.
