THEODORE V. GALAMBOS, PhD, is Emeritus Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Minnesota. The recipient of awards that include five ASCE prizes, he is the author of Structural Members and Frames, coauthor of Structural Steel Design, Second Edition and Basic Steel Design with LRFD, and editor of the Guide to Stability Design Criteria for Metal Structures, Fourth Edition (Wiley).
