He has spent his career building products and companies that use interactive technology to solve business problems. A resident of South Orange, New Jersey, Dr. Lissak and his wife, Lisa, are the parents of two daughters, Ilana and Rachel. His interests include his wine collection, nineteenth-century art, and the family s four golden retrievers.

A contributing author of Better Change and Paradox Principles, Mr. Bailey is frequently quoted on workplace issues. An avid sailor, he won the Transpacific Yacht Race in 1995.
