C. Y. CHANG is Professor and Dean of the College of Engineering at National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. He is also the Director of the National Nano Device Laboratory. Dr. Chang was elected a fellow of the IEEE in 1988 for his "contributions to semiconductor device development and to education."
FRANCIS KAI is an Analytical Tools Engineer at Dell Computer Corporation. He formerly served as a Senior Systems Engineer at Creative Applications, Inc., Senior Engineer at Compaq Computer Corporation, and Assistant Professor at Northeastern University. Dr. Kai earned his PhD in solid state electronics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has varied experience in semiconductor processing, high-speed device design, device modeling, VLSI circuit design, signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility, software development, and medical imaging.
