The question is which of the following can you use to check the continuity of a cable?

a. digitaql volt meter
b. cable tester
c. TDR
d. oscilliscope

Errata: The answer is A, however, Digital Volt Meter should be changed to DMM, or Digital Multi-Meter. A volt meter measures only voltage, whereas a DMM can also measure resistance and/or continuity (diode check). You have to have a voltage applied to measure with a DVM.
