Christopher H. Sommers, Ph.D., a research microbiologist and Xuetong Fan, Ph.D., a research food technologist, both work for the Food Safety Intervention Technologies Research Unit, USDA-ARS-Eastern Regional Research Center, Wyndmoor, PA. Drs.
