In a new edition of this valuable and well-known anaesthetic textbook, the editors have taken a fresh look at their approach to the subject. Previous editions have been more discursive in nature and have covered a great deal of medicine.
In their fourth edition, however, the editors have selected a new team of contributors who have given clear accounts of those medical and surgical conditions having a direct bearing on how the anaesthetist chooses to manage the patient.
