This book introduces the subject of process analysis, instrumentation and control for modern manufacturing in the plastics industry.  It addresses process analysis (i.e. why plastics manufacturing is unique), the required instrumentation, hardware, data acquisition, and control loop strategy, and the tools of process monitoring, diagnostics, and control.
