The aim of physica status solidi is the rapid publication of important and new results in the field of solid state physics, both in fundamental and applied research. pss (c) - conferences and critical reviews publishes conference proceedings, ranging from large international meetings to specialized workshops as well as collections of topical reviews on various areas of current solid state physics research. The new series was launched in December 2002 and several issues will appear in its initial volume 0 (2002/03). pss (c) is available both online and in hardcover print volumes, to be delivered to conference contributors and participants. Single copies of proceedings may be ordered as a book quoting its ISBN number. As of 2004, pss (c) will be included in the subscription to pss (a) or (b).
