Biopharmaceutics & Drug Disposition publishes original reports and review articles of studies in biopharmaceutics, drug disposition, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, especially those which have a direct relation to the discovery/development and the therapeutic use of drugs. This includes:

B7 B B B B B B B B B Research on factors affecting the clinical response to drugs and on the design of drug dosage regimens and the treatment of overdose based on pharmacokinetic principles

B7 B B B B B B B B B Studies on membrane transport and genomics as it impacts on pharmacokinetics

B7 B B B B B B B B B Simulation and modelling in drug discovery and development

B7 B B B B B B B B B Analytical methodology, in vitro drug metabolism and transport and animal models, provided that either they facilitate the preceding types of investigation or are related to the use of drugs in man.

B7 B B B B B B B B B Studies on drug bioavailability or drug/metabolite measurements without a more quantitative view of data interpretation are not viewed as contributing to new knowledge; whereas those with new metabolite identification do convey new knowledge. B

Reports must contain current citation of the literature and convey new information.
