Simulations
Computer Simulations of the books objects: One of the best ways to learn how a violin or nuclear reactor works is to experiment with it, but that's not always practical or safe. Computer simulations are the next best thing.  Associated with each simulation is a sequence of interactive questions that turn it into a a virtual laboratory experiment. In keeping with the How Things Work concept, the student is then able to explore the concepts of physics in context of everyday objects themselves.
