Experimental Physiology publishes Research Papers which report the results of original research in most areas of physiology. These are normally limited to 6,000 words including legends and references Papers should embrace the journal's orientation of translation and integration. Specifically, we are keen to receive manuscripts that deal with both physiological and pathophysiological questions that investigate gene/protein function using molecular, cellular and whole animal approaches. In addition pertinent methodological papers are encouraged as are manuscripts that use computational models to further our understanding of physiological processes.
