The Journal of Educational Measurement (JEM) publishes original measurement research, reviews of measurement publications, and reports on innovative measurement applications in an educational context. In keeping with the purposes of NCME, topics addressed in JEM are those likely to be of interest to persons concerned with the practice of measurement in field settings as well as measurement theorists. In addition to presenting new contributions to measurement theory and practice, JEM is a vehicle for improving measurement application in a variety of educational settings.
