Journal of Integrative Plant Biology (JIPB) is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal that reports the latest discoveries in plant biology. Established in 1952 and sponsored by Botanical Society of China and Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, it is one of the leading academic journals in China.

The journal publishes articles in 3 categories: invited reviews, new technologies and full-length research articles. The invited reviews intend to bring our readers the latest scientific news and development in the field while the new technologies category describes new and improved methods and research tools in plant biology. The research articles explore basic biological questions through reproducible experimental design, using genetic, biochemical, cell and molecular biological methods and statistical analyses.

First-class manuscript handling and rapid turnaround time for submitted papers is guaranteed. The journal seeks to reach a wider international audience, and welcomes plant scientists from all over the world to submit manuscripts. All accepted papers will be given immediate exposure on the journal's home page. Authors may submit color photographs for consideration of front cover illustration, and in return, if accepted, the authors will receive free offprints with color cover without additional costs.

JIPB is currently available in over 7,800 libraries worldwide and indexed by 66 databases such as Medline/PubMed, SCI, CA, BA and BIOSIS.
