Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics is the international journal concerned with the effects of drugs on the human gastrointestinal and hepato-biliary systems, particularly with relevance to clinical practice.

The Journal accepts original papers concerned with all aspects of basic and clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and the therapeutic use of drugs in the alimentary tract including the liver, gall bladder and pancreas.

When the 2008 Impact Factors were announced by Thomson Reuters, we were very surprised to see the Impact Factor for AP&T had dropped from the 2007 figure of 3.201 to 1.215.

Thomson Reuters has agreed that a mistake was made in their calculation, and the revised correct AP&T Impact Factor for 2008 is 3.71.
