Australian Journal of Earth Sciences publishes peer-reviewed, theoretical and experimental research papers as well as significant review articles of more general interest to geoscientists. Australian Journal of Earth Sciences covers the whole field of earth science including basin studies, regional geophysical studies and metallogeny. There is a special thematic issue each year featuring a selection of papers on a particular area of earth science. Short geological notes are also published on new developments in the geosciences. Critical discussion of recently published research papers is encouraged.
