The Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health provides a forum for the publication of peer-reviewed original research, clinical observations, review articles, annotated book reviews and Letters to the Editor. Although focused primarily on the Asia Pacific region, the Journal attracts readers and contributors from more than 30 countries. A new development in 2000 sees the Journal increase in size to include a designated Continuing Education section. Part 1 contains the reviews and annotations regularly published by the Journal and Part 2 contains a series of papers addressing specific topics, including statistics, ethical issues, evidence based medicine, neonatal medicine and instructive case reports.
