The Journal of Prosthodontics promotes the advanced study and practice of prosthodontics, implant, esthetic and reconstructive dentistry. It is the official journal of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Dental Association-recognized voice of the Specialty of Prosthodontics. The Journal of Prosthodontics serves both researchers and practicing clinicians by providing a forum for the presentation and discussion of evidence-based prosthodontic research, techniques, and procedures.The objective of the Journal of Prosthodontics is to facilitate the effective transmission of new and innovative prosthodontic-related research from the laboratory to the practicing clinician. The journal publishes original scientific articles presenting information that is new and relevant to prosthodontics. Additionally, it publishes reports of innovative techniques, reviews of new instrumentation and products, new uses for existing material, new instructional methodologies, work in progress and practice management issues, instructive case reports, and announcements of importance to the prosthodontic community.
