Forthcoming Special Issue
The first ever special issue of Coloration Technology is now being planned which will review the development of coloured light sources. Coloured (and white) lighting is all around us and impacts on our lives in ways which we may not even realise, possibly taking for granted the street lighting, traffic signals and vehicle lights that we encounter on a daily basis. Reviewing present (and future?) illumination technologies, from incandescent filaments, fluorescent tubes, light emitting diodes, this issue of the journal will also cover standard illuminants and colour matching cabinets, colour transforms and computer simulation of illuminant changes, and the importance of lighting in retail spaces.
