The emergence of the metabolic syndrome as a disease state demands a journal devoted to providing essential information to the clinical readership. The Journal of the CardioMetabolic Syndrome, under the leadership of Editor in Chief James R. Sowers, MD, is a quarterly publication that will circulate to approximately 25,000 US cardiologists, diabetologists, endocrinologists, health care professionals, and internists.
