Announcing the New IAAP Journal - Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being

The first issue is now available online! To download it for FREE, click here.

The International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP) in conjunction with the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) and Wiley-Blackwell have launched a new journal, Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being (AP:HWB).

The mission of this new journal is to provide readers with outstanding articles that present, from an international perspective, the latest data and best practices in the application of psychology to the promotion of well-being and optimal functioning. The keyword 'well-being' has been linked to only 20 journal articles in the year 1999, but to 300 articles in 2006. Such a steep increase in publications on this emerging topic underscores the need for a suitable outlet for research.

Edited by Ralf Schwarzer and Christopher Peterson, Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being will commence publication with Volume 1, Issue 1 in March 2009. A preview issue of Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being has been published as a supplement to Applied Psychology: An International Review (Volume 57, Supplement 1, July 2008). This supplement is freely available to all online, please click here to view the Table of Contents, or simply click on the article titles in the 'Highlights' section below.
