The International Society for Biophysics and Imaging of the Skin (ISBS)

The International Society for Biophysics and Imaging of the Skin was formed informally in 1976 and was formally constituted in 1993.

Among its more than 140 members, there are

- dermatologists
- occupational physicians
- physiologists
- biochemists
- pharmacologists
- toxicologists
- cosmetic scientists
- and engineers,

all sharing a common interest in the development, use and spread of knowledge on skin bioengineering techniques.

International Society for Digital Imaging of the Skin

The mission of the ISDIS is to promote the migration of new and evolving digital skin imaging technologies into clinical practice. The ISDIS accomplishes its goals by raising clinical awareness of advances in skin imaging technologies through symposia, conferences, and print media.
