Association for Psychological Science
The Association for Psychological Science (previously the American Psychological Society) is dedicated to supporting researchers, applied and clinical scientists, academics, and teachers in the field of psychology. The Society is a powerful voice in promoting psychology as a science-based discipline and advancing behavioral science research on Capitol Hill. Our members and their research and teaching cover the entire spectrum of knowledge encompassed by basic and applied psychological science. As the leading experts in their subdisciplines, our members work to ensure that knowledge and findings are shared across the entire psychological community. All APS efforts work toward a goal of advancing the scientific discipline of psychology and the giving away of psychological knowledge in the public interest.
