Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society 

LATEX2e Class File

A LATEX2e class file for Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society is now available, together with a bibliography style file for authors wishing to use BibTeX

(also available on the Monthly Notices web site, and also from the Comprehensive TEX Archive Network (CTAN), in subdirectory tex-archive/nonfree/macros/latex/contrib/supported/mnras/).

The distribution contains the following files.

MNRAS LaTeX2e class guide 

mn2esample.tex 
MNRAS LaTeX2e sample file 

new_feat.tex 
list of features new to the class file. This may be typeset to produce a DVI file if required.

Also available is the old LATEX 209 style file.

If you have obtained this package by FTP you should have one large file in which the above files are concatenated. Use a text editor, or word-processor to split these files at the text 'CUT HERE'. 

Typeset MNGUIDE.TEX and the sample pages with MN.STY for instructions and examples.
