GUIDELINES FOR REVIEWERS

All contributions should be sent to the Editor: Uriah Kim, 77 Sherman St, Hartford, CT 06105, USA.

1. Each review should briefly summarize the contents of a book, discuss its significance, and offer a constructive appraisal of its content.

2. It would help if reviewers would comment on possible audiences for a book: is it likely to be solely of interest in the UK or the USA? To Anglicans or to Roman Catholics? Is it likely to be of interest to a general reader or only specialists? Is it as good as/better than/worse than possible 'competitors'? Would it make an ideal text book? etc.

3. Reviewers should ensure that their style is accessible. Avoid unnecessary jargon. RRT has a wide readership among both academics and non-academics. Please bear this in mind when writing reviews.

4. Express your own views, your likes and dislikes. We want you to communicate your enthusiasm and expertise. However, it is our aim that any criticism should be constructive rather than personalized.

5. If, for any reason, you cannot meet the agreed deadline, it is essential that you inform the editor as soon as possible.

6. Copyright Transfer Agreement
Authors will be required to sign an Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) for all papers accepted for publication. Signature of the CTA is a condition of publication and papers will not be passed to the publisher for production unless a signed form has been received. Please note that signature of the Copyright Transfer Agreement does not affect ownership of copyright in the material. (Government employees need to complete the Author Warranty sections, although copyright in such cases does not need to be assigned). After submission authors will retain the right to publish their paper in various media/circumstances (please see the form for further details). To assist authors an appropriate form will be supplied by the editorial office. Alternatively, authors may like to download a copy of the form here. You can also download the Regular Author Copyright Transfer Agreement for book reviewers here. Please return your completed form to: Dianne Lee, Production Editor, Journal Content Management, Wiley-Blackwell, Wiley Services Singapore Pte Ltd, 600 North Bridge Road, #05-01 Parkview Square, Singapore 188778. Alternatively a scanned version of the form can be emailed to dilee@wiley.com or faxed to +65 6511 8288. However, the original document is required to be mailed.

7. Could contributions be submitted both as a hard copy and on disk (Microsoft Wordperfect or Word). The hard copy should be identical to what appears on the disk. Please label the disk with the word-processing package used and the version of the package. Alternatively, rather than sending a disk, submit your copy as an email attachment to ukim@hartsem.edu.

8. Unless otherwise noted, reviews should be between 800-1200 words in length. Ideally, please include a word count at the end of your review. Opportunities to write longer review articles of 2000-3000 words should be discussed with the editor.

9. The heading should be in caps and lower case and follow the sequence:
Book title
Subtitle

Place of publication

Date
ISBN
No. of Preliminary pages (usually roman)
No. of text pages (usually arabic)

10. All copies should be double-space with good margins.

11. Please indent each new paragraph and do not leave line spaces unless you really mean to provide a break.

12. Please use single quotation marks ('...') rather than double ('...'); use double inside single if quotations are needed within quotations.

13. Provide page numbers for any quotation used in your review.

17. Please end your review in the following style:
Jane Smith
University of Huddersfield

18. Please spell out numbers under 100 (with the exception of dates and chapter/page numbers), and use numericals for any numbers over 100.

Thank you for your co-operation.

NEW: Online production tracking is now available for your article through Wiley-Blackwell's Author Services
Author Services enables authors to track their article - once it has been accepted - through the production process to publication online and in print. Authors can check the status of their articles online and choose to receive automated e-mails at key stages of production. The author will receive an e-mail with a unique link that enables them to register and have their article automatically added to the system. Please ensure that a complete e-mail address is provided when submitting the manuscript. Visit http://authorservices.wiley.com/bauthor/ for more details on online production tracking and for a wealth of resources including FAQs and tips on article preparation, submission and more.

Pre-submission English-language editing
Authors for whom English is a second language may choose to have their manuscript professionally edited before submission to improve the English. A list of independent suppliers of editing services can be found at http://authorservices.wiley.com/bauthor/english_language.asp. All services are paid for and arranged by the author, and use of one of these services does not guarantee acceptance or preference for publication.
