WILEY CUSTOM PUBLISHING SYSTEM

ISBN 0-471-04702-3, CD-ROM & Sample Book

Description:

The Wiley Custom Publishing System is a complete CD-ROM database of key Wiley introductory engineering textbooks. With the material in Intro to Engineering courses varying so widely from school to school, this library allows professors to build a customized textbook that fits their courses better than any traditional book could. The system gives instructors the tools to create their own text, made up of material pulled together from a minimum of two Wiley texts and their own material.

The result is a text that truly fits the course while passing a savings to the student but without the professor needing to gather the numerous complex permissions needed for a course pack. Books from Wiley's lists in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and General Engineering present a cross section of disciplines broad enough to match any syllabus.

With the complete text of each book in the Custom Publishing Library on the CD, the professor can easily select which material is appropriate for the course and create the table of contents. She or he merely selects the material chapter-by-chapter, adds in their own material, prints out the order form and brings it to the bookstore. Three to four weeks later, their new customized Wiley Engineering book is ready. Appropriate for any Introductory Engineering course.
